Katie, Mike, and family arrived at Hart Ranch on Sunday June 24th.  They bought a new camper on Wednesday, left Georgia on Friday afternoon, and got to Hart Ranch on Sunday evening!  (ergo the "insanity" part!)

We had a great time at Hart Ranch, I think the kids really enjoyed themselves.  Chase was old enough to drive our golf cart, so he cruised around the park with the kids.  We spent one day sightseeing - Mt. Rushmore, Sturgis, Deadwood - but the rest of the time we just hung out here.

On Thursday the 28th, we left for Cody, Wyoming.  Mike rode the motorcycle and the kids took turns riding with him on the trip.  I drove the truck and carried our little pop-up camper, and Katie and Mike pulled their new camper.  We had a nice little caravan over there!   Long day though, but pretty drive out of Buffalo through the Bighorns!

We stayed at a great campground called the Cody Trout Ranch.  They had a fishing pond and Taylor caught his first trout!  We went to the rodeo, and drove into Yellowstone two of the days (those were long days!).

We saw so much wildlife!  We saw three bears - including a least one grizzly (not sure about the other two - they were both brownish in color), bison (of course), elk, big horn sheep, and across a river through binoculars we saw a bald eagle!  On the way home to Hart Ranch Mike and I went via Hwy 14 to Sheridan and saw a female moose on the side of the road! 

We had so much fun being together, and of course it went way too fast!  The Whites are now on their way to the Grand Canyon, and we go back to work.  We are so thankful that they were able to do this and that we had this time together.

They got here late, so we grilled bacon wrapped hot dogs!
