What a whirlwind few weeks!!
We left Pahrump and headed north, landing in Delta, UT for a couple of nights. We took an off-road day trip in the Jeep and saw some spectacular scenery.
We stopped in Wendover, UT so that Mike could ride the Flying Mile on the Bonneville Salt Flats. (He did it once before on the 650, but I can't find those pictures).
A couple of nights in Twin Falls so that he could golf on the Canyon Springs golf course on the Snake River. I walked with him, great day!
Then, a long awaited week in Boise to spend time with Joan and Chuck Wood and Char Carpenter. This is what we were supposed to do in 2020....stupid Covid! We had a great time!! Joan had us over for dinner a couple of times, and we got to see her sister Jan. Chuck and Mike golfed several times, and we took a day trip to the Snake River Raptor Conservation Area.
We left Boise, and spent a night at a Harvest Host in Mountain Home. Mike got to golf on the beautiful course (a city course no less!) and we had supper in their restaurant. Great day!
We spent a few days in Arco, ID. We went to Craters of the Moon National Monument, and took a beautiful drive up US93 to Salmon, ID. It was a long drive, so we didn't stop at the Sacajawea Cultural center. Next time. On the way home we followed the Lewis and Clark trail for a bit - over the mountains it went from 79 to 39 and was sleeting! Quite a drive!
