I can't believe it's September 20th already! We left Hart Ranch today, but in the meantime, had a lot of fun with friends.
September 12th was my last day of work at the Front Desk - and what a day! But when I got home I found this waiting for me, from dear, dear Sally. It's a shame you can't see the light colored pen ink on the back, as those are all quotes from me over the years.
Then we had friends Lyle and Sally, and Dot and Roger over for Happy Hour. It was a little chilly that evening, and wind out of the south, so Mike set up our seating area around the fire behind the rig.
Then we had Anne and Tim over to do omelettes in a bag for supper one evening. Now wind is coming from the north, so we had to set up in front of the camper. With a really red neck wind break (notice the tarp). Mike and Tim getting the pot ready.
Last, our neighbor (and fellow Front Desk gal) Carol and Dan's granddaughter, Charlie, really followed Mike around. Every day she'd come over and at the door would say "Sue, where's Mike?". Of course he was usually golfing! He would give her lots of golf balls, and take her in the golf cart to go find them. We gave her a stuffed puppy on Saturday morning, and so she and the puppy and Mike had to take a little ride. She's too cute!
