Just some odds and ends.   We had our year-end department party. JoAn wrote a great poem for Susan and read it aloud at the party.   It's really sad saying goodbye to everyone this year - sadder than usual because I'm not coming back to work.

We also took an easy off road trip out of Spearfish to Iron Creek Lake. We had been there once before on the dirt bikes.   Really a pretty area:

And, I had the opportunity to tell Jim LaMar how much he reminds me of Dad, and how on July 13th, the anniversary of Dad's passing, he spoke to me just like Dad did. JoAn took this picture, I love it!!
