Last week we took a quick trip to Salida, CO. Janet and Roy Friend were moving back to Salida from Hart Ranch, so we offered to pull their motorcycle down there, and at the same time were able to visit Chuck and Claudia! It worked out well for everyone; a quick trip but we got to get in a visit.
We drove down on Monday, dropped the trailer off at Janet and Roy's, and then stayed Monday night and Tuesday with Claudia and Chuck. On Tuesday we golfed in Leadville, at the highest golf course in North America - 10,000 feet! It was beautiful, but hart to breathe!
We picked the trailer up on Wednesday morning and drove back to Hart Ranch. It was a pretty drive, we had a great visit, but a long two days of driving! It was a gift to see Claudia and Chuck so much sooner than we had expected - loved every minute of it!!
