April 2020

Well, Covid 19  altered our plans.  We cancelled the Avi, Vegas, and Utah reservations (we were supposed to meet Angie in Vernal) and headed straight to Hart Ranch.  We didn't want to get stuck on the road.

We stayed in Albuquerque for a few nights waiting out a storm.  It was a really cute RV park on the old Route 66 - the office building is from the 40's - and they had some classic trailers that were for rent.

We got up here safely, but had to self quarantine for two weeks.   That is the new norm here at Hart Ranch.  They don't expect the virus to peak here until July, so HR is basically closed until July 1st.

I am now work camping 20 hours a week working remotely.  They closed the Lodge, and we've mostly been taking cancellations.  It's a mess.

It's Easter Sunday, and we're having the second blizzard since we've been here.   We knew we'd have that coming back so early - we weren't supposed to be here until June.

I go to the grocery store to shop during the senior hours, wearing a mask, trying to get in and out as quickly as possible.   Everything is so uncertain right now, I pray that we get through this quickly and that the economy comes back quickly as well.

This was a funny post relating to the Cornona Virus and Schrodinger's Cat:
