Well, we've made some significant changes. We were looking for a cargo trailer to pull the two motorcycles behind the new motorhome, but there wasn't anything that we could pull that was within the weight limit AND would hold the two very large bikes.
Sooooo, we traded in the truck, the Gold Wing, and the Spyder on a 2015 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. This is a true 4WD Jeep, is towable behind the motorhome, and now we're heading off road again!
I found all of our topographic maps that we had from our dirt biking days (all of the Western states), and our Garmin satellite GPS, so we're set!
We had the Blue Ox tow package installed, and now we're ready to go. We just need it to warm up in South Dakota. I'm scheduled to start work on the 31st of March, but for the last month and the foreseeable future the highs haven't been over the 20's with lows in the single and negative digits. We're not going up there until it warms up a little.
We're going to take a meandering trip on the southern route and will try to be up there the end of March!!
