Hart Ranch

We made it home to Hart Ranch on Sunday the 25th. This is the first time ever that we haven't had to hunker down in Wyoming to wait out wind or snow! We had some wind along the way, some helping/some hurting; a little bit of snow, and rain. When we stopped in Fillmore, Utah, they hadn't turned the water in the park on yet, so we "roughed" it that night.

We unloaded the bikes in the arrival parking lot, got backed in and set up before the snow Sunday night. It's too muddy in the storage yard to put the Spyder in the garage, so it's out front with the cover on. The golf cart started right up (surprisingly!).

We start work next week - we're ready to get back at it! This week we put in a new back splash behind the stove - we finally got all the holes covered from when we took the convection oven out. It looks great!

Pahrump in March

We've been in Pahrump since February 21st, and have been going back and forth seeing friends. It's been great to be here catching up with everyone.

We took a trip over to Death Valley - boy has Furnace Creek changed! The campground now has full hookups, and they've torn down the old General Store and restaurant - and they're building a huge new resort. It's lost its charm.

We drove over to Las Vegas to see Angie and Vic (they were here for vacation), Connie and Dick, Joan and Chuck, Claudia and Chuck (we golfed with them!), and Sally and Lyle (who were also here on vacation!). Tonight we're going to see Jack and Jo and Gloria and Mel. Such fun seeing everyone!

We head back to Hart Ranch next Wednesday. They had 4" of snow today, so I sure hope the weather gets better before we get up there!!!
