Hart Ranch Golf Course Flooding

Mike rode over to the golf course, and here are pictures of the flooding there.  The pictures show the first fairway, and the bridge from the tee to the fairway.   Now THAT is casual water!!

Spring Creek Flooding

It has been raining for DAYS!  On Sunday, the FEMA office called us to tell us that we were under a flood warning.  We had to move campers from the low lying areas (the Meadowlands), and Rory had to move his horses to higher ground.   Today it is FINALLY sunny, although more rain is expected this week.   This is what it looks like around Hart Ranch.

The Hart Ranch Golf Course is closed because of the flooding.  Most of the front 9 is along Spring Creek.  Mike won't be golfing this week.  :-(

Mother's Day in South Dakota

It's May 10th and we're getting about two feet of snow!   It's cold, the wind is blowing with 40 to 50 mph gusts, and it's generally AWFUL!
