Trip to Arizona

1/19:  We're on our way.  Our first night was just south of Montgomery.  Today we landed in Biloxi, and drove over to Gulfport to get some seafood.  We ate at the White Cap, had a great ocean view, and the oysters were really fresh and yummy!!

1/22:  We're staying an extra day in Sulphur, LA.  We had planned on two days here, but today is rainy and very windy, and snow up by Fort Stockton, so we decided to push it all out by one day.  This is one of our favorite RV parks - the A+Motel and RV park in Sulphur, LA, just west of Lake Charles.  If you're ever traveling on I-10, this is a great place to rest.    They have a lake stocked with bass and catfish, turtles in the lake, and gators in the creek just along the edge of the park.

Ready to Go!

We got the motorcycles safely loaded yesterday.  I was quite nervous about it because it is SO MUDDY here from all the rain.  Mike's bike especially, because it is so heavy and the ramp is so steep.  I was worried about him spinning the tire and then tipping over.  But, not a problem (as Mike says; I worry too much!).

Today we're driving all over north Georgia to say goodbye to everybody, and then we head out tomorrow, the 18th.  We should be in Coolidge (weather permitting) on the 25th.

We'll miss everybody terribly, but we are both so tired of the cold weather.  Neil, Pam and Jake are planning to come to Sturgis this year, so we'll see them in August.  And October will be here before we know it!

Livie in her Casts

Katie and Olivia just got back from Philly.  Olivia is getting casts in preparation for her surgery on February 11th.  It makes my legs hurt just to look at them - her poor feet are practically pointing backwards.  And she doesn't get around quite as well, because the casts are up to her thighs.

Here she is, dancing with Paw Paw! She chose the "Hulk green" for here casts - Hulk is her favorite hero.

Olivia Roller Skating

Katie shared this video with us last night.  In this video, Livie has on her full leg braces and is actually roller skating!!  Notice how she pushes Michael's hand away when he offers to help her. 

This is AWESOME!!  Let's all pray that she will be able to do this, walk, run, and play after her surgery.
